Edward Jackson – President and Chief Executive
Officer
Edward Jackson brings over 15 years of executive management, technology
and entrepreneurship experience to Provade. Prior to founding
Provade in 2004, Edward served as Director of Supplier Relationship
Management (SRM) Product Strategy for PeopleSoft. He joined
the PeopleSoft SRM team when SkillsVillage, a company he co-founded,
was acquired by PeopleSoft for $32 million in June 2001. Edward
served as CTO at SkillsVillage. He also spent over four years
in Baxter’s Financial Shared Services, supporting a $2 billion+
accounts receivable, $1 billion+ Corporate T&E and a $1 billion+
accounts payable processing operation.
Han J. Kim – General
Partner and Co-founder, Altos Ventures
Han Kim is a General Partner and co-founder of Altos Ventures, focusing on investments
in the areas of software and business services. He also concentrates on companies
with significant business in Asia, leveraging the firm's substantial contacts
in the region, particularly in Korea. Han currently serves on the board of
Pandora.tv, Provade and SeeControl and works closely with DemandTec, Instill
Corporation and Vesta Corporation. He also led the firm’s prior investments
in CallConnect (acquired by Workscape), Digital Market (acquired by Agile Software),
Evant (acquired by Manhattan Associates), iOwn (acquired by Citibank) and ProduceOnLine
(acquired by World Commerce).
Before founding Altos Ventures in 1996, He worked at Booz Allen & Hamilton
solving strategic and operational issues for global media, retail and distribution
companies. Previously, he was at Procter & Gamble. Han also served as a Captain
in the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers. He served two years in Korea, commanding
both U.S. and Korean soldiers.
Han received an MBA from Stanford University and a BS in Engineering from the
U.S. Military Academy at West Point.
Steven S. Lee – Partner, STIC International
Steven Lee is a partner in STIC’s US office,
and heads the US investment team for STIC International. With over
13 years of experience working with companies in various IT fields,
Steven has worked with startups in the areas of software, internet
applications, networking, storage, and semiconductors. Previously,
Steven worked with Athena Technology Ventures, a venture capital
fund focusing on early stage companies in communications and information
technology, and has served on the boards of several startups, working
closely with companies such as Cenix, Chameleon Systems, Creative
Design Solutions, Persist, Trapezo, and Zantaz..
Steven earned a MS and BS in Electrical Engineering from MIT. He specialized
in Digital Signal Processing and was the member of Eta Kappa Nu and Tau Beta
Pi engineering honor societies.
John-Michael Lind – Founder
and CEO, Strategic Partners Group of Companies
John-Michael Lind, a Founding Investor in Provade, is
the Founder and CEO of the Strategic Partners Group of Companies, which includes
Strategic Partners Holding Ltd., the General Partner of The Strategic Partners
Opportunities LBO Fund and The India Special Situations Fund, Persona Ventures,
an India-based proprietary venture capital fund, Strategic Partners India Pvt.
Ltd., a corporate finance services company with offices in Silicon Valley, New
York and Mumbai, and Haseltine Global Health, LLC, a global healthcare and life
sciences company headquartered in New York. Prior to establishing SPL, John-Michael
was the CEO of Hughes Ispat Limited, a basic telecom services operator in India
(currently Tata Maharashtra). John-Michael is also the Trustee of The Lind Family
Trust which supports charitable activities in science and healthcare in the US
and India.
Ross E. Peoples – President
and Chief Executive Officer, Provade Asia-Pacific
Ross Peoples has over 20 years experience in supply chain and business
solutions, consolidating the last five years in the financial service
industry specializing in business services covering new technology
applications, financial management, process reengineering, strategic
sourcing, change management and collaborative e-business solutions. As Executive General Manager Business Services
for Commonwealth Bank and Director of Cyberlynx Procurement Services, Ross
managed over 400 staff, annual budget/revenue of $120 million and Procurement
spend of $1.5 billion per year. He has a Bachelor of Business
Studies from Sydney University and an MBA from the Kellogg School
of Management at Northwestern University.
Patrick D. Quirk – Board
Member
Patrick Quirk has more than 25 years of experience in enterprise
software management, research and development, marketing and sales.
He recently served as Executive Vice President of Worldwide Customer
Operations for Keynote Systems. He had global responsibility for
over 100 sales and professional services personnel, including Keynote’s service level management (SLM) and customer experience management
(CEM) consulting organizations. Prior to joining Keynote in April 2005,
Patrick served as PeopleSoft’s General Manager and Group Vice President
in charge of the company’s supply chain management, product and technology
business. He also held several roles at i2 Technologies, including Vice President
of Strategic Accounts at i2 Technologies and Vice President of Marketplaces. Patrick
was Vice President of the Americas and Asia-Pacific for Aspect
Development (acquired by i2) and led sales for Connect Inc, which
he helped take public in 1996. He was also a Vice President for
Avalon Software, an ERP company and has held executive positions
at Oracle, including national sales manager and group sales manager,
and launched Oracle's first manufacturing releases through 28 of
the world's leading high tech OEMs.
He holds a bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering from the
University of Wisconsin-Madison. |
